Four graceful steel arcs, had once formed the band securing the sides a huge wooden water tank, deep in the woods for 50yrs. Now they are graceful arcs, cut & arranged together vertically, reaching upward & out.
The chimes and their red acrylic wind catchers, create a pleasing visual and auditory presence.
For interest, I added the center accents, threaded on a small rod.
I recently shortened the sculpture & lightened the weight with a different base.
I sense elegance and playfulness in this sculpture. It is a welcome, gentle presence in the garden.
