Lots of metaphors in this piece.
Old white-painted steel parts I collected included 4 directional parts of a weather vane.
I welded these to a small scrap. Then built a haphazard framework up from that. I added a black plastic shaped disc for a base, and inserted the black plastic arrows. I topped it with a color coordinated doorknob. |
