I wanted to be able to support this delicate white circle unobtrusively. I found a blue piece that became the supports. I then added height and weight to the base for stability.

My intention was to create a simple, light weight sculpture that would energize a large space but not dominate it. This does just that.

I like the contrast between the straight angular dark support and the delicate white circle that seems to gracefully float above it.

An added surprise is the growth of lichen on the supports which added more character. It shows up nicely in the yard.
