The half of a scalloped edge plowing disc inspired this sculpture.
I was attracted to the painted metal pieces.
I used the faintly yellow fragment as a bracket to hold the disc.
I wanted the upright to display the mostly white surfaces. I built a compact base with side supports to stabilize the sculpture.
I like the way this showcases the disc and that the painted fragments also contribute to the composition.
This medium sized sculpture is great in a garden. |
