One Up is about circles, interacting patterns, a flat plane and a ring that bounces off the wall.
The inspiration was the pattern made by opposing the blades of a hedge trimmer. With this vertical, I used the negative space circles as a contrast and base for the wall piece.
The accent of the ring on a spring playfully carries the theme of circularity right off the top.
I like the interplay of these elements.
