This sculpture explores connections with its narrative, and disparate materials in its composition.
The various found objects that found their way into this piece, were from several art lovers who knew their gifts would generate a unique new life.
The stainless verticals had been part of commercial shelving, vertical accent was once hedge-trimmer blades, the heater elements are obvious. The rusty steel was from the “boneyard”.
It became pretty exciting as these parts found their place.
I constructed the sculpture so that each persona was formed as two modules for transport.Then, I got to play with the connection, it is flexible, mutually adjustable,
open to interpretation.
This strong, unique creation is a fun attraction, inside or out. |
