It represents my exploration of two materials in several separate series based on uses of material sources. The piece of culvert as base, and blue painted ring are united by the small rectangular scrap of negative circle spaces.

I like that the rusty circle piece echoes the circle of the painted ring and the color of the rusted culvert. The play of shapes, color, line and texture generate visual interest.

This simple, sturdy wall-hung sculpture lives well inside or outside.
