I found an interesting shape that had enough weight to be a base. I cut tube for brackets to fit the standards, drilled holes in the base under them so there would be drainage, and welded them in place. The uprights would be removable and interchangeable. I then got to cut the various heights make and the patterns for their tops. This was a fun project.

This unique sculpture is great to put into the garden, as if it were growing; or to show off the base on a flat surface.
