The parts have an interesting history: many layered painted & rusty, hollow, flat ring (reclaimed from a condemned fence), is combined with a scrap (from a strip joyfully rescued from a dumpster, made by the negative spaces of repeating patterns of cutouts).

I very much like the aqua and rust colors together. I like the way the two parts interact in this tight composition.

The resulting image suggests, in a generalized way, a calm persona. An appropriate greeter, influencing its setting.

This unique creation is so elegant !

It can live happily inside or outside.
