I enjoy this gestural sketch.
It features an interplay of 3 found objects. Each was from a dear blacksmith friend, who had purchased them as accents to his commercial work. He encouraged my work and shared his scrap and excess. When he closed his business, I purchased many of those treasures.
I really enjoy playing with the various ways the spirals can interact, with each other and different shapes. You will notice them in many of my sculptures.
The two spirals interact with the leaf. It is a simple wall hanging.
