The large ring just fit on the tray. I off-set it, and drilled holes for four attachment sites. I used a strip of coated nails to contrast the edge of the ring, attached it to itself with wire and glued this ring to the original ring. I used self sticking copper tape on the outer edge of the nail ring.
I strung the metal "pins"on a wire to make a fringe on the bottom edge of the tray. Hanging blue and brass accents decorate both sides of the fringe .
I am quite pleased with this Medallion.
