I was drawn to the interaction of the copper, rusted steel, teal and wood.
First I wired the flattened copper ring to the steel grid.
Next, I glued : adding the flattened rusty steel pieces onto the grid to make interesting form & texture then tucked the touch of teal under the steel scraps. I drilled the wood to accept this assemblage
This tiny wall hung piece is now simply presented on the highly polished wooden backing.
The whole composition came to life ! It’s an elegant accent for display inside.
