However, I stopped welding
before that was completed.
When I closed "my shop", I collected the parts:
frames, base & cymbal & took them to my studio,
hoping to join them with nuts & bolts.

This was so inadequate!
6 mos. later, my dear friend Rick Butler
welded the frame to the base for me & secured the cymbal.

I am delighted to have this sculpture come together.

It has become a work that is symbolic of this transition in my process.
