This was included in the Lovingness Show at The Gallery at Corrick's. Later, sold from my home studio.
This simple painting with objects/sculpture is about caring relationships.
I cut figurative shapes from a copper sheet. I arranged them relating. Then joined them with wire & epoxy, setting up methods for mounting them on a backing to hang.
I spent several days teasing an interesting patina from the copper, using muriatic acid, hydrogen peroxide, vinegar & H2O. Then sealed it.
The marbled backing sheet is "weather-printed" paper (I exposed it to rain with dried leaves & Steel to leave their marks over time.
