I was deeply influenced by the sensuousness of the hills which were my daily commute between western Petaluma and the coast.
I painted abstract watercolors of this scene.
I made the original sculpture of this limited edition, in bronze. Then made a mold from that and cast it in more affordable material, cement.
The flow of the reclining figure and the landscape made a good combination of that period of my work.
