I saved this galvanized grid in my boneyard, when it was attached to a broken wooden dolly. I was so pleased that it kept its integrity when I took the wood off.
I added the needed support to keep it vertical, hidden in the center of the grid, where it would not draw attention to itself. I built a light weight, wide frame base for stability.
I really like this repeating pattern. Now I looked for accents to enliven and give depth and unity to the composition.
From my boneyard, I found an open circle to add depth, using vivid red housing and blue strips (that I curled) are in keeping with the simplicity while adding a .playfulness to the design.
This unique creation is anl eye-catching addition to any garden. |
