I was fascinated by the clear plastic shape. Just how to feature and display it was really challenging & fun.
I took old slides apart, and painted the
cardboard frames, glued them to-shape on the frame.
The mirrored acrylic background reflected light through the acrylic Twinwall, providing both backlight and texture.
All this assemblage was adapted and glued for maximum reflection and transparency.
It is a strong and simple gestural sketch. |
