Copper tubing in steel housing transformed by fire and my vision.
These Copper shapes attracted me. The end panels of a radiator had survived the fire that had destroyed the connecting tubes in the center part. I trimmed the excess raw edge on the back side of the panels. Epoxy glue now held them in place.
I polished these and designed a composition to display them. I mounted the parts on a wire frame, welding the small steel accents, and trapping the panels with a fine copper wire. I covered the raw back side of the panels. The wire frame can hang on two small wall nails.
I am pleased with the result.
