Many of my studio treasures can be
stalled by the "how to display/secure it?" question.
So with the horse & basket relationship.
The use of red wire to secure & decorate,
was particularly satisfying for me.
Each found object can trigger collective cultural & personal associations & memories in the viewer.
Beyond metaphor, elements of
balance, space, volume, line, shape, texture and color
play an important part in this tiny jewel of a piece.
